Flag Hotel Foya Branca

Bit surprised we were given a 4 bedroom villa with 3 bathrooms. Was expecting a 2 bedroom one. Great location for the airport, and a taxi ride away from Mindelo. Just fine for us as we were only there for one night before flying out. 2 swimming pools, although one is for children only as very shallow. Very quiet when we stayed 28/12 - which suited us, but was told it was fully booked for New year.

Location close to the beach, very spatious room, nice pool, free transfer to Mindelo, friendly staff.

Great value for money. The pool area was lovely and there is a tennis court. Good food options for lunch. Very close to airport so very handy for flight delays etc. We were checking out before breakfast and they brought it to our room the night before so we could bring it with us.

It is a big resort close to the airport on Sao Vicente. I liked it a lot more than some other reviews suggest. It was clean, rooms were spacious and staff was friendly. You can actually walk to the airport (about 15-20 minutes). They also have shuttles to Mindelo throughout the day.

Very close to the airport, we walked there. The hotel operates a free transfer to the airport and to Mindelo. It is on the seaside, with beautiful garden. The restaurant is very nice and offers a good breakfast. There is a fridge in the room.
